The purpose of this position is to provide leadership for asset performance and energy excellence scope throughout the Division. This includes thought leadership, business development, scope management, risk mitigation, and personnel recruitment, development and management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for developing right sized scope for client portfolios based on portfolio size/location, level of opportunity, and identification of appropriate staffing levels. Accounts with KPI are to be managed for success through variable and dedicated resources and through active and visible management with account and client leadership when and where necessary.
Accountable for demonstrating service value through in person & virtual meetings with clients and prospects while providing accurate, timely and relevant feedback to Senior Managing Director to adjust/modify products and services in order to generate revenue for the organization, differentiate from competitors (within and outside the real estate services industry) and increase life cycle savings for clients.
Champion divisional efforts of Asset, Energy and Sustainability management including standardization, technical leadership and enhancing the performance of all related facility management delivery throughout the managed properties.
Responsible for leading the asset and energy team to implement new technologies, identify cost savings opportunities, manage initiatives and engage the CBRE platform team on issues related to energy procurement and energy-related capital projects, renewable/carbon and critical environments.
Identify and prioritize initiatives based on an evaluation of their life cycle cost and/ or ability to enhance the client reputation.
Responsible for engaging with Divisional Asset and Energy Services to identify and implement sustainable products, processes, best practices and technologies, to support the client's goals of reducing energy and water consumption, asset lifecycle management and for managing the environmental impact of a real estate portfolio
Provides strategic and technical leadership in the areas of asset, energy and sustainability management and related standard operating procedures, predictive maintenance procedures, capital planning, customer service & delivery level agreements and the development and review of performance criteria for outside service contracts.
Provides asset, energy and sustainability input to new construction and other capital projects. Works with client and project management teams to insure the implementation of life cycle cost evaluation approaches which explicitly include maintenance, energy and sustainability considerations.
Carries out broad and complex assignments requiring comprehensive knowledge related to asset lifecycle management, energy efficiency, and renewable/carbon offsets services offered by the Global Asset, Energy and Sustainability platform.
Develops and presents monthly status and variance reports and conducts monthly asset and energy team meetings. Communicates past, present and future energy plans and performance through formal presentations to account team and client.

Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year College or university. Minimum of eight years of related experience and/or training. Minimum six years of managerial experience preferred. Prior Supervisory experience required across multiple client verticals. Strong preference to experience identifying and implementing asset, energy and sustainability programs in the real estate services market.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
CEM required. PE and LEED accreditation preferred.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures. Ability to forecast and prepare budgets. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.
Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Carbon footprint reporting experience or training preferred. Training and accreditation part of development and performance management requirements.
Strong process skills, negotiating, decision-making and analytical skills are necessary. Demonstrated ability in project management processes, tools and techniques.
Ability to build and maintain effective professional/client relationships.
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project.
