Major responsibilities of this position, with the percentage of time devoted to each: • 50% Study/Subject Coordinator • 40% Data and Regulatory Management • 10% Other Administrative Duties Study/Subject Coordinator: Provides research study administrative support by working closely with faculty and investigators. • Recruit participants to research studies • Conduct telephone and in-person research assessments to assess for eligibility • Schedule procedures for research visits, including reserving any facilities necessary for research completion • Coordinate procedures for participants in research studies, which may include study assessments, behavioral tasks, and/or behavioral interventions • Maintain list of participants for follow-up assessments and engage in efforts to maintain retention of participants for longitudinal assessment • Complete and maintain necessary trainings to support research coordinator duties (e.g., CITI, HIPAA, Capacity to Consent) Data and Regulatory Management: Maintain accurate regulatory records of all research studies. • Maintain regulatory records for research studies according to the standards of the IRB • Complete IRB applications according to requirements to maintain active correspondence with IRB regarding any changes to study protocol • Attend Research Coordinator meetings to stay current on research regulations. • Provide other miscellaneous tasks as required/requested • Assist with completion of quarterly and annual reports • Conduct regular data checks and create reports to assure data quality • Perform data cleaning to assure data quality and prepare to data analysis
Other Administrative Duties: Provide cross-coverage, as needed, and have a willingness to work on Departmental/Division projects and opportunities as they arise.

• BA/BS or a combination of related education and work experience to equal four years • Demonstrated strong communication, written, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and data management skills • Ability to prioritize work demands and manage time appropriately • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism • Critical thinking skills and the ability to learn and integrate new information quickly • Experience and demonstrated success in establishing and maintaining effective and collaborative working relationships with stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds, communities, and organizations • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently part of a team • Proficient with various technology applications including: MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint), internet applications, data entry, email, calendaring, and database software
• Working knowledge of scientific method, human subjects research, and research regulations • Previous knowledge/experience working on federally funded grants • Experience in recruitment and scheduling research • Ability to empathically connect with potential research participants and understand their needs and concerns • Knowledge of research ethics and IRB rules and policies concerning the recruitment of research subjects • Courses in research methods, psychology, helping professions, or allied health • Coursework in statistics • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and take initiative to implement changes
