The incumbent will provide environmental data collection, processing, analysis, and management for the Nebraska Army National Guard (NEARNG) Construction and Facilities Management Office (CFMO). The incumbent shall support the Natural Resources (90%) and Compliance (10%) programs of NEARNG's Environmental Management Branch (EMB). Specific responsibilities shall include performing wildlife monitoring and surveying; invasive species inventory and monitoring; collecting, processing, and compiling environmental data; and maintaining current hardware equipment. The incumbent shall also provide analysis and technical recommendations to EMB for project methodology and equipment needs, while conforming to NEARNG and Army National Guard (ARNG) standards, specifications, and protocols. The incumbent shall perform field work in a variety of seasonal weather conditions. US Citizenship is required. Subject to obtaining a security clearance prior to employment in the position.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Science, Biology, Environmental Science or related field required. Due to association with the National Guard, U.S. citizenship is necessary and individual is subject to maintaining a security clearance throughout employment in the position. Must have a valid driver's license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.
Experience with military applications of Natural Resources conducting field work, data collection, and data processing preferred.
