The Department of Radiology at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine is seeking a full-time researcher and chemist to collaborate on research projects in the Molecular Imaging Center. The candidate must be knowledgeable in medical research, and the application of chemistry to medicine and the development of novel research tracers.Â Â
The Department is comprised of 70 faculty, 19 fellows, and 41 residents.Â We are located on the Keck School of Medicine campus in downtown L.A.Â Our hospitals included Los Angeles County Medical Center, Keck Medical Center of USC and Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center.Â Outpatient sites include a full service outpatient imaging center and PET/CT imaging center.Â All research facilities and medical facilities are within walking distance.Â We have some of the most advanced imaging facilities for state of the art imaging and operate an active molecular imaging facility and new cGMP cyclotron for novel compound production.Â We also have a 4D lab group available for image reconstruction and quantitative analysis and collaboration.
