Salary Range: Dependent on Qualifications/Experience
This Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the development of the electronics of the instrument from bread boards and prototypes through close involvement with the manufacturing team who will implement the candidate’s designs into the commercial product. This individual must be fluent in electronics design and debugging methods and be hands-on to prototype and evaluate their systems in the lab. Must be experienced at board-level and box-level design. Experience developing commercial systems with embedded control is essential. LabVIEW experience is a must, and experience with other development tools highly desirable (OrCAD, Spice, MATLAB, etc.). Candidate will work closely with the internal cross-functional team of SW engineers, Mechanical Engineers, and Chemists to ensure systems are successfully implemented. Candidate will also work closely with the manufacturing team to transfer the designs and meet regulatory requirements in the commercial builds (FCC, IEC, UL, CE, etc.).
Education and Experience:
5 years’ experience with successful track record of commercial launch
