As a part of the technology team at AMVAC, provide analytical chemistry support to process chemistry research, formulation development, regulatory requirements and quality control.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Working under the direction of senior lab staff, perform testing/physical characterization of agrochemical samples; e.g., analyses by GC and HPLC, density measurements, titrimetric analyses and other modern analytical techniques.
Develop analytical methods for analysis of active ingredients as well as impurities in technical materials and formulation matrices.
Support and guide the R&D efforts for formulation development and manufacturing troubleshooting. Other assignments as necessary and as directed by lab management.
Comply with all regulatory safety and environmental requirements.
Comply with all company policies, practices and lawful directives.
Practice excellent housekeeping in an R&D facility.

• 0-5 years of relevant experience. • Experience in a GLP-regulated work environment is preferred. • Experience with method development using chromatography, spectroscopy, mass spectrometry and other analytical techniques is preferred.
